Computer Animation teams wins repeat trip to nationals

BPA Computer Animation Team from New Braunfels High School comprised of Nathan Downey, Jordon Stewart and Jackson Lichlyte

For two consecutive years, the Computer Animation Team from New Braunfels High School qualified for the national level of competition after winning 1st place at the annual Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Leadership Conference held March 6-9 in Dallas.


A total of 21 members representing NBHS traveled to attend the conference with the following students placing in the competition events:

Computer Animation Team - Jordan Stewart, Jackson Lichlyter and Nathan Downey, 1st Place


Computer Modeling - Kyle Smith, 7th place


At the state conference, NBHS BPA Member John Christian Archer was also elected as the Regional President for Area 3, Region 3.


“These young men have proven themselves worthy of competing on the National level through not only intelligent hard work, but consistency and follow through, as well,” said Beverly Trollinger, the BPA sponsor at NBHS. “They make us Unicorn Proud!”


The BPA National Leadership Conference will be held May 1-5 in Anaheim, Calif.

 

Kyle Smith from New Braunfels HS earned 7th place in Computer Modeling at the 2019 State BPA Conference  John Christian Archer from New Braunfels High School was elected the 2019 BPA Regional President for Area 3, Region 3
