NBISD forming new Unicorn Hall of Honor committee

Unicorn Hall of Honor

New Braunfels ISD is currently accepting applications for a newly formed committee that was created by the Board of Trustees to establish a new Unicorn Hall of Honor recognition program.

The purpose of the Unicorn Hall of Honor Committee is to create the procedures and timeline to implement this new initiative that will honor former NBISD graduates and employees. The committee will be chaired by Dean Laird, who originated the idea and has been Board appointed, and will be comprised of no more than ten (10) members.

The committee has one duty and will only serve until their recommendations are made to the NBISD Board of Trustees.

“The Unicorn Hall of Honor is intended to showcase the notable accomplishment of graduates from New Braunfels High School and former employees,” said Randy Moczygemba, NBISD superintendent of schools and an ex-officio member of the committee. “We have some very notable graduates and former employees that are not only successful, but have made huge contributions in their lifetime.  This program will allow us to tell their stories that are very much a part of NBISD’s legacy.”

For those interested in serving on the committee, please submit the online application by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019,  in order to be considered for the committee.
