Fall Sports Wrap Up

Unicorn football ended their season Friday night against the Smithson Valley Rangers. In a tough district, the Unicorns finished with a 3-4 record. Over the season the Unicorns racked up some great stats with Ryan Redding passing for 1338 yards and rushing for 917 yards, Trevor Pierce ended the season with 98 tackles, Farley Bevil not far behind him with 91 tackles and Kobi Cadena had a total of 4 sacks.

Cross Country

Cross Country had another sound year of running with Sarah Wuest qualifying for the State meet on Nov. 4 and the Boys Cross Country qualifying for the Regional Cross Country Meet held at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Unicorn ladies volleyball not only claimed the 27-6A District title for the second year in a row but also claimed the Bi-District title after they beat Brennan. They came extremely close to winning the Area Championship title but lost in the 5th set to a solid Churchill team.

Unicorn swimming continues to lead the pace. They have several invitationals coming up in the next few weeks along with TISCA and District on January 27. Just keep swimming, Unicorns! We will continue to follow and report on your progress.

Tennis ended their season just a little sooner than usual this year. They are now gearing up for the spring season.
