Two more Unicorn athletes sign to compete at collegiate level
On Dec 20, two more Unicorns signed letters of intent to play for the college of their choice next fall. The student-athletes' teammates, family and coaches joined them for the official signing ceremonies at the high school. 

Max Luhrs --  signed his letter of intent to run cross country at St. Edwards University  (St. Edwards) in Austin Texas. St. Edwards is a Division II university in the Heartland Conference. Luhrs’s athletic honors include being named 27-6A Team District Champions, a state qualifier; named Regional Team runner up; and he had top 5 finishes in District with a 15:49 personal record. He was also a member of the NBHS track team and  NBHS Soccer team where they were named Bi-District Champions. He is the son of Corey and Michelle Luhrs.

Weston Wright signed his letter of intent to play football at the Texas Tech University located in Lubbock, Texas. Texas Tech is a Division 1 university in the Big 12 Conference. Wrights athletic honors include being named 1st team All-District for two consecutive years; 2017 Subway Super Team Nominee, selected 2017 San Antonio All-Star, and Team Leadership Council. He is the son of Matthew and Robin Wright.
