National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) is March 5–9
National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) was created to celebrate breakfast and emphasize the benefits of eating it at school.

To encourage students to participate in school the national effort, there will be activities throughout the week to encourage eating breakfast at each elementary school.

During NSBW, each student will receive a sticker when they eat breakfast at school. The students will place that sticker on their designated class poster that corresponds with a colored plate. Each plate will be labeled Monday – Friday. At the end of the week, all of the plates should be full!

The classroom with the most breakfast participation will be rewarded with a party like an ice cream social or pizza party, on a teacher approved date.

The NSBW campaign is organized by the School Nutrition Association.
