3 Easy Steps to Register

Step 1: Register online through txConnect
Complete the online registration before you come to campus. Download step-by-step instructions here.

Step 2: Bring the required documents to your home campus
Come during normal office hours and reference the list provided below.
Print and complete the following forms to bring with you.

Step 3: Activate txConnect account
Manage your student’s records with your newly issued portal ID.

TxConnect is not only used for Online Registration, but can also be used to monitor your student’s grades and attendance and/or receive notifications.

Please go to: https://txconnpa.esc13.net/PANB/login.aspx and click on the “create an account”.  


New High School Students - after you have completed online registration, you will need to call the High School office at 830-627-6000 to schedule a "New Student" appointment. These appointments will be on August 14 through August 16.




Online registration for incoming new students will open on Monday, August 6, 2018, and remain open until Friday, August 24, 2018.



All of the NBISD schools will begin accepting registration documents during normal office hours beginning August 6.

New students to New Braunfels Middle School, Oak Run Middle School, New Braunfels HS Ninth Grade Center and New Braunfels High School will need to make an appointment for a New Student Counselor Meeting to create schedules. Contact your campus for instructions on setting appointments.

Students being registered for Kindergarten in the 2018-2019 school year must be 5 years old by September 1, 2018.

To confirm your attendance zone, please call the NBISD Transportation Department at 830-627-6150. 

Items You Will Need:

In order to comply with state and local mandates, as well as local school board policy, parents or guardians must produce the following documents:


  • Birth Certificate – Must be state-issued certified copy. Hospital birth certificates are not considered legal state certified birth certificates.
  • If your child was born in Texas, you can obtain a certified copy of your child’s birth certificate from the Comal County Clerk’s Office in the County Courthouse Annex Bldg., located at 150 N. Seguin, Ste. 101, in Downtown New Braunfels. Parents can also request a copy online at www.texas.gov under the Vital Statistics link.
  • For information on how to obtain an out-of-state certified copy of your child’s birth certificate, call the Clerk’s Office at 830-221-1230 Option 5.
  • If a birth certificate is not available, the school may also accept a student passport, military ID, adoption records, or legal documentation that establishes a student’s identity.
  • Social Security Card – Must be the child’s card.
  • Immunization Record – Record of all immunizations and/or boosters. Documentation must have the physician’s signature or clinic stamp. Month, day and year must be recorded for each shot.
  • Residency Verification – When you enroll your child, you must provide your Texas Driver’s License or Texas ID which lists your current address and at least one of the following documents to prove you live within the New Braunfels ISD:
    • NBU bill
    • CenterPoint Energy bill
    • GVEC bill
    • Lease Agreement (listing all occupants)
    • Mortgage Agreement
    • Notarized letter from your landlord (listing all occupants)

If your family is residing with another NBISD resident, a Residency Form will need to be completed at the campus. Both the parent/guardian, and the NBISD resident will need to make an appointment with the campus secretary. The NBISD resident will need to provide proof of residency and the campus principal must approve all forms.
