Ethics Hotline

NBISD Ethics Hotline:
1-833-204-4691 (Available 24/7)

At NBISD, we believe our employees and citizens should be able to voice their concerns about issues such as fraud, theft, conflicts of interest and other misconduct or violations of district policy, including compliance matters. With our Anonymous Reporting Hotline, Website and App, you can make these concerns known — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You may remain anonymous by not disclosing your name or you can ask that your identity be kept confidential. All reports help to maintain an ethical environment without fear of retaliation.

If you witness questionable activity, please contact us. Allegations reported over the Hotline, Website and App are evaluated and investigated. It is intended to be used to report serious concerns or questionable actions such as the following:

  • Unethical or unlawful
  • May lead to incorrect financial reporting
  • Are not in line with District policies and procedures
  • Serious improper conduct
  • Fraud, waste or abuse of resources
  • Misuse of grant money
  • Research fraud
  • Theft/embezzlement
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Procurement fraud
  • Threats to personal safety
  • Discrimination or harassment

The NBISD Board Policy Manual provides the expectations of the school district employee’s behavior and responsibility. For more examples, please see LOCAL Board Policy CAA here.

Regular business matters that do not require anonymity should be directed to the employee’s supervisor and should not be submitted using this service.
