More than 700 high school graduates will walk the stage on May 25 during the New Braunfels High School Commencement Ceremony scheduled for 8 p.m. at Unicorn Stadium.
The Master of Ceremonies for the graduation ceremony will be Boston Walker, the senior class president. The ceremony will feature the Top 10 graduates from the class in several speaking roles including the welcome, opening statement, and graduation address.
The Salutatory Address will be given by Gavin Remo followed by the Valedictory Address by Sora Mayer. The remaining Top 10 Graduates include: Co-Salutorian Bernice Hoang, #4 Lauren Studdard; #5 Catelyn Hatcher; #6 Danika Rossbach; #7 Logan Summerville; #8 Randi Rush; #9 Nathalie Freiha; and #10 Kati Alkire.
The ceremony will conclude with a fireworks display. The show is anticipated to begin around 9:45 p.m. and will only last approximately two (2) minutes. The firework display is being presented by two generous community partners - ValMark Chevrolet and Frost Bank. Due to their support, NBISD will be able to celebrate the more than 700 graduates at no cost to the district taxpayers.
