New Braunfels ISD will be holding a series of required informational meetings for the parents of 2023-2024 kindergartners who are interested in having their child in the NBISD Dual Language Program. Parents are invited to attend one of these required informational meetings being held at the following times and locations:

The NBISD Dual Language Two-Way program provides an opportunity for native English speakers and native Spanish speakers to become bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural in English and Spanish. Students receive instruction in both languages through the core content areas in order to facilitate native language and second language development. This program is only opened annually to students entering kindergarten.
 
The meetings will cover the same information at all sessions. For the 2023-2024 school year, the Dual Language program will have two campuses that house the Dual Language Program. Carl Schurz Elementary will be the host campus for students zoned for Carl Schurz, Lamar, Seele or Veramendi. Voss Farms will be the host campus for students that live in the Voss Farms, Klein Road, Walnut Springs, Memorial and County Line attendance zones.
