Seven members of the NBHS boys basketball team were named to Class 6A-27 all-district teams, while five Lady Unicorns earned all-district.
The boys team finished the season with a record-breaking regular season win total (28) and a bi-district championship before falling to Buda Johnson in the area round. The Unicorns went 29-6 overall this season. All-district accolades included:

The Lady Unicorns had the team’s highest win total in five years with 14. However, they missed the playoffs after losing 9 of 10 games in district play. The Lady Unicorns ended the season with a 14-21 record. All-district selections included:
