Our Vision for all Students

At New Braunfels ISD you will find highly qualified teachers, administrators and other support staff that work together everyday to ensure a successful future for our future generations.

We strive to increase high levels of student performance by offering rigorous curriculum and challenging academic programs. Annually, students and educators earn national and statewide awards for academic and teaching accomplishments.

NBISD students historically perform above regional and state averages in state accountability testing. Students also continue to outperform their state peers in the SAT and ACT tests and continue to perform at the college level on Advanced Placement exams.

District Vision:

Every Student. Every Day.

Why I love teaching in New Braunfels ISD

The community support and connections with students make NBISD a special place to teach. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to laugh, teach a subject that I am passionate about, and foster meaningful relationships with students and colleagues. I enjoy sharing the history and traditions of NBISD with students and new teachers.

Safety is Our Priority

  • NBISD reallocated funds within the budget to increase the amount of safety personnel at all campuses;
  • Implemented a system of regular, exterior door sweeps across the district;
  • Consistently review and update our district’s emergency operation plan;
  • Provide ongoing trainings with all staff to include how we respond to incidents.
