Will there be a professional photographer at the ceremony?
Yes, Flash Photography will be taking pictures during graduation. Graduates will complete in information card the day of graduation and will need to have the following information at that time: Mailing address, phone number and two email addresses (not your school email, as it will be deactivated upon graduation). You will receive proofs in the mail about two weeks after graduation. For any questions, you may call Flash Photography at (817) 924-2626.
Are students required to be in dress code?
Yes. Students should dress cool and within the NBISD dress code. Students should not bring anything to the ceremony other than their cap, gown, stoles, and cords if applicable.
Are graduates allowed to use cell phones during the ceremony?
No. Cell phones should be left with family members or be turned off during the ceremony. Students will not be allowed to use cell phones during the ceremony.
Can graduates decorate their caps?
No. Students are not permitted to decorate their graduation caps.
When will graduates receive diplomas?
Diplomas will be distributed immediately after the ceremony. Instructions for diploma pick up will be provided during graduation practice.
Are noise makers allowed?
No. Noise makers distract from the ceremony. We want to ensure all graduate names are heard throughout the stadium. Noise makers prevent this from happening.
Can guests bring water to the ceremony?
Yes. Guests will be allowed to bring in one bottle of water. Project Graduation will be selling water at the ceremony as a fundraiser for next year’s events. All graduates will be provided water during the ceremony.
Are tickets required to enter Unicorn Stadium for graduation?
Yes, each graduate will be provided 13 tickets for graduation. All those in attendance must have a ticket to enter Unicorn Stadium.
How many parking passes will graduates receive?
Students who have had an on-campus parking tag this year, will receive a separate parking pass for graduation. All other seniors can enter their names into a drawing for a graduation parking pass. You will not be allowed to park on campus without the pass. Parking lots can be accessed off Loop 337 at the light by the apartment complex next to NBHS and Ohio Street. The main entrance to NBHS will be used only for those who have passes.

Will a sign language interpreter be available for our hearing-impaired guest?
Yes. There will be a designated area on the home side of the stadium.
Will there be handicap parking available?
Yes. There is be a designated areas to accommodate those in need of handicap parking. This area will be located near the NBHS Field House. If a person has a disabled placard/license plate along with the NBHS Graduation Parking Pass they should enter the campus using the entrance near the baseball field.
Will there be overflow parking?
Yes. Guests are being asked to use the Oakwood Baptist Church, or Veramendi Elementary parking lots as a remote parking lot. There will be no parking available on campus for guests. The NBISD Transportation Department will provide shuttle service between the church and NBHS starting at 6:45 p.m. Shuttles will start departing from NBHS once graduation ends. A handicap accessible bus will be provided to shuttle those guests in need who use the Oakwood parking lot.
What happens in the case of inclement weather?
If the ceremony scheduled for May 23 has inclement weather, New Braunfels ISD officials will render the decision to move the scheduled time. Announcements of this change will be made to all parents and graduates.
Will students be able to leave their vehicle in the NBHS parking lot during the Project Graduation event?
Yes. Students will be allowed to leave their vehicles at NBHS, however the parking lot will not be secured or monitored. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle and make sure that it is locked before you leave.
