For the 10th consecutive year, the New Braunfels High School Marine Corps JROTC Unit has earned the Naval Honor School Distinction. This award recognizes the top 20 percent of more than 250 Marine Corps JROTC units across the country.
The overall performance of each unit is evaluated by community service work, ceremonial events, extra curricular participation, scholarships, scholastic performance, student government and the annual inspector general's inspection.
The NBHS Marine Corps JROTC Unit has now been awarded the Naval Honor School Distinction 20 times in its 41-year history at NBHS.
