NBISD bond ballot language explained
In compliance with a new state law, bond ballot propositions must include the following statement: THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. As a result of this new requirement, voters in NBISD will see this language on all three bond propositions regardless if the tax rate is impacted. On the same date the Board of Trustees called the bond election, they also voted to lower the district tax rate by $0.0255.
